Join us in our ‘Winter Soups’ class where you’ll learn how to make a variety of soups from the bright and vibrant to the comforting and satisfying. A bowl of soup can be a delicious starter that serves as the promise to a great meal coming or can be a big bowl of thick, hearty soup to be eaten with some bread for supper.
During the five hour workshop we’ll make:
- a vegetable based velouté soup that is smooth, creamy and elegant.
- a chicken or vegetable broth based soup with a hearty mix of vegetables and grains
- a pulses based soup with spiced chunky vegetables and
- a Smoked Haddock and prawn Chowder (or sweetcorn chowder for vegetarians)
All ingredients and equipment are included in the price, as are lunch and refreshments.
You’ll also take home a recipe and method booklet, to remind you of what you have learnt.
