In our ‘Pastry at home made simple’ class, you’ll learn how to make three classic types of pastry. During the five hour workshop, you’ll make
- shortcrust pastry
- flaky pastry
We will also demonstrate how to make Pâte Sucrée (a rich sweet shortcrust pastry).
With the shortcrust pastry you will go on to make an asparagus and courgette flan and we’ll show you how to make a salmon en croute using flaky pastry.
By the end of this class you will have gained confidence in making the two most commonly used pastries. You will take home the pastries and flan you’ve made in the class, along with a recipe and method booklet to remind you of what you have learnt.
